For the most part, "events" related to self-assembly consist of conferences and workshops. Please see the Conferences page for a listing of conferences which have been, and continue to be, good venues for publishing and discussing self-assembly research (particularly theoretical work). The majority of these conference occur once each year.

Unconventional Computation & Natural Computation 2014 will be held at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, Canada on July 14-18, 2014. UCNC is traditionally a great venue for self-assembly (and related) research. Furthermore, Matt Patitz will be hosting a workshop on DNA Computing by Self-Assembly during the conference. The conference and workshop will provide great opportunities for both experienced self-assembly researchers and those new to the area to learn more, meet each other, and form new collaborations.
