Cellular Automata Simulator

Below is a link to a cellular automata (CA) simulator written by Matt Patitz, based on the original Trend CA simulator written by Hui-Hsien Chou (currently at Iowa State University) and Wei Huang. The version available below is compiled to run on Windows, but the source code is written in C++ and based on the cross-platform GUI library wxWidgets, so it should be easily portable to other platforms. If you are interested in obtaining the source code, please email Matt at mpatitz@self-assembly.net.

Cellular Automata for Simulating aTAM Systems

Below is a link to a zip file including a set of CA definitions for use in the Trend simulator which simulate various aTAM systems, as well as a generic template (and instructions for using it) which can be used to design your own CA system which simulates an arbitrary aTAM system. These systems were developed by Matt Patitz and Jacob Hendricks.
